I drew this as a tribute to Hugh Jackman. His commitment to practice, train and maintain above-qualifying conditions which gave us over 15 years of the Wolverine makes him arguably the best actor who played this character in the cinema world, and will deservedly hold this title onwards... ^^
This is what I call a 'Custom Piece', meaning that it's not heavily composed of one image - but many, to create a near-inexistent situation of specifically placed shading, lighting, angle and posture.
Drawn on: June 25 2016 9:37 PM on a 'SUNLIGHT' Sketch book (Size A3, 11x16 Inches Wide/Tall).
Tools used: Zebra DRAFIX Mechanical pencil (0.7 Hard-Bold), Pilot FEED-GP4 (0.7, Black and blue), MONO plastic eraser.
The movie frames I've captured as References, a picture of the tools are included in this image.
That was quite large... It had to be scanned three times, one for different areas and then put together digitally because our scanner/printer was too small.
I've begun watching the first X-Men movie in 2003 when I was five, and since then have caught on with every installment. This particular franchise have never ceased to entertain me, in fact, I've re-watched all of its movies this year and I'll definitely do it again in the near future, this is truly one I won't grow tired of anytime soon.
